How do I set up my phone to use data?

Don't panic, there's usually a quick fix to using your data or getting online.

What to do:

  • Try resetting your connection/device:

    • Turn Airplane mode on and then restart your device. When your device is back on, turn Airplane mode off.

  • Check and update your APN settings:

    • Correct APN settings are crucial for data services to work properly. These should be set automatically but sometimes they are not.

    • Go to your phone's Settings > Mobile Data or Cellular > Mobile Data Network or Cellular Data Network

      • Make sure Mobile Data > APN is set as “Gamma”

      • Make sure MMS > APN is set as "three.co.uk"

    • If it’s not, tap each field to update them!
