How do I get help with eSIM activation issues?

If you’re having trouble activating your eSIM, there’s usually a quick fix. Following the checklist below should solve your issue.

Checklist:

  1. Check activation time and hours.

    • eSIM activation usually takes less than 1 hour but be patient! It can take up to 24 hours during busy periods.

    • You’ll only be able to activate your eSIM between 4:30 am to 9:30 pm. If you’re outside of these hours, unfortunately, you’ll have to wait to activate and check you’re SIM.

  2. Try the traditional fixes:

    • Try toggling Airplane mode on and off. If this doesn’t work, try restarting your phone. They’re simple fixes, but often effective!

  3. Verify your device settings:

    1. For iOS:

      1. Head to Settings > Mobile Data. Ensure “Turn On This Line” is activated for your eSIM.

      2. Make sure your data settings are configured properly with this article.

    2. For Android, go to Settings > SIM cards & mobile networks > Manage eSIM. Ensure that your eSIM is turned on here.
