You’ll PAC is valid for 30 days from the date it was provided. This is in addition to the 30 days you have to request your PAC after leaving them. You can also request a PAC before leaving your existing provider.

Make sure your new SIM is activated before your PAC expires - otherwise, we won’t be able to transfer your number!
Keep your old SIM active until the transfer is complete (so that you can still receive calls and texts to your number).
