We’ll automatically provide you with a new number when you switch to us. For us to cancel your old number also you’ll need to provide us with a STAC (Service Termination Authorisation Code) which you can get from your previous provider.

💁 You can use a STAC when you’re initially joining us or later on. Just note that your STAC is only valid for 30 days.

Here's a step-by-step guide:

  1. Obtain your STAC:

    • You can text ‘STAC’ to 75075 from your old provider’s SIM to receive the STAC within 60 seconds. Note that you may need to provide your date of birth for verification.

    • Make sure to review important information in the reply. It will include details about:

      • Any early termination charges

      • Pay-as-you-go credit balances

      • Potential refunds you may be eligible for

    • If you don't have access to your old SIM, contact your previous provider directly and ask for it.

  2. Give us the STAC:

    • You’ll be able to provide us with the STAC you received under ‘SIM Activation’ in your online or in-app dashboard. Remember that your STAC is different from your PAC.

    • We’ll use this to cancel your old number for you. You may experience brief service disruption during the switch.

    • The process typically completes within one working day, just make sure you maintain service on your old SIM until the transfer is complete.

    • We’ll let you when we’ve cancelled your old number. Then you can immediately start using your new number!

🔔 Remember to only request a STAC if you want to close your existing account without transferring its number. If you want to keep your number, request a PAC instead.
