Don't worry! This can happen sometimes after switching providers.
First, try restarting your device. If this doesn’t help then you may have to manually check your settings. We've written some general guides below, but it may vary from phone to phone.
For iPhone users:
Check your Phone Number settings:
Go to Settings > Phone > My Number
Ensure the correct number is displayed. If not, update it manually.
Check your Messages & FaceTime settings:
Go to Settings > Messages > Send & Receive.
Tick/untick the correct number
Try resetting your network settings:
Go to Settings > General > Reset > Reset Network Settings.
Use this as a last resort. It won't delete personal data, but you may need to re-enter Wi-Fi passwords.
As a last resort, consider a factory reset (but back up your data first!)
For Android users:
Check your number settings:
Go to Settings > About Phone > My Number
Edit to the correct number if it’s incorrect.
Check your contacts settings:
Go to Contacts > 'Me' or 'My Card'
Edit to the correct number if it’s incorrect.
Reset network settings:
Go to Settings > General Management > Reset > Reset network settings
Use this as a last resort. It won't delete personal data, but you may need to re-enter Wi-Fi passwords
As a last resort, consider a factory reset (but back up your data first!)
