If you've just transferred your old number to your new SIM but your iPhone is not displaying this number in your settings then this article is for you. Don't panic! This occurs occasionally with iPhone's when they don't recognise the number change (or "port") and can be fixed quickly yourself!
π If you haven't recently transferred your number but it's still showing the wrong number in your settings then this article is still applicable.
Follow these steps:
Navigate into your iPhone settings and select "Mobile Service". Under SIMs click on this SIM (you may have given it a descriptive label!).
Click on "My Number" to edit the number attached to this SIM. Delete the incorrect number, leaving it blank. And click "Save". You can also follow the visual guide below:
Then toggle Airplane mode on/off and restart your device. When you boot it back up, your iPhone should have recognised your correct number!
If this didn't work, you could also try turning off iMessage and FaceTime.
Navigate to Settings > Apps > Messages > iMessage and toggle this off.
Navigate to Settings > Apps > FaceTime and toggle this off.
Then restart your phone and turn them on again!
