If your data is not working it may be because your data settings are not configured properly. This is often an issue on iPhone but can occur on certain less popular Android devices (e.g., Fairphone). Don't panic! You can update these settings easily:

On iPhone:

  • Head into the Settings app and navigate to Mobile Service > Click this eSIM > Mobile Data Network.

  • Then edit the following APN settings field so that they are:

    • Gamma for the APN field within "Mobile Data".

    • three.co.uk for the APN field within "MMS".

  • Then restart your phone to make sure the changes take effect!

On Android:

  • Head to your Settings app and navigate to Network and Internet > SIMs > Click on this eSIM (and ensure it is turned on)

  • Then scroll down and click on "APN" or "Access Point Names" under "Network". Check they are as below:

    • Your data APN should be named "Gamma" or "gamma" and set to "gamma" (case-sensitive).

  • If your APN settings are not as above, you'll need manually edit them.

    • Look for the button or option to "Add APN" or "+". This will create a new APN profile for you. Then enter the below details:

      • Name: Enter "Gamma" (this is for reference)

      • APN: Enter "gamma" (this is case-sensitive, so make sure it is all lower case).

    • Once you've entered the information, save the new APN profile. Then click on the circle next to it to set it as the active APN.

  • Then restart your phone to make sure the changes take effect!
